Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Cuizine (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Cuizine is a recipe, meal-planning, and grocery app that uses AI to generate and personalize recipes and meal plans. Features and availability may change over time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Plans, prices, and billing are managed through our website and processed by our payment provider. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel your subscription from your account at any time. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. AI-generated content, calorie tracker, and health disclaimer

Recipes, meal plans, and nutritional figures may be generated by AI and can contain errors or omissions. Always verify ingredients, preparation steps, and allergens yourself before cooking or eating. Cuizine is not a medical, nutritional, or dietary advice service. If you have allergies, medical conditions, or dietary needs, consult a qualified professional. You assume responsibility for food choices and preparation.

The iOS app's calorie and nutrition tracker, including any barcode-scanned or Apple Health-synced data, is provided for informational and personal tracking purposes only. It is not a medical device, and calorie, macro, or water estimates may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on it in place of professional medical or nutritional advice.

6. User content and zero-tolerance policy

You may upload content such as photos and reviews ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content and grant Cuizine a non-exclusive license to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Service.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to upload, post, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights, and not to harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

You can report objectionable content from within the app. We review reports and may remove content and suspend or terminate the accounts of users who violate this policy — without prior notice. We act on objectionable-content reports promptly.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to break the Service.
• Do not access the Service through unauthorized means or scrape it at scale.
• Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by Cuizine and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cuizine is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any food-safety, health, or dietary outcomes arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Cuizine operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
